The history of Iraq's conflict has produced many areas known to be
widely contaminated by explosive remnants of war and landmines. The exact
location of all contaminants is not yet known, thus classifying many work sites
as a suspected hazard area (SHA) and an area containing unexploded remnants
(UXO).
It is necessary to improve the development of the oil fields to allow
access to petroleum bar platforms and support the redevelopment plan through
